Marking Remembrance Day
In the lead-up to Remembrance Sunday, our children participated in a week of reflective activities.
Year 5 explored the online Commonwealth War Graves Commission records to find out about soldiers listed on the Prees War Memorial.
Other children visited St. Chad’s Church to seek information about soldiers from our area who are named on the memorial. They really enjoyed finding out about each one. Our thanks to everyone at St Chad's for organising such an interesting and thoughtful display.
On Friday, our whole school community walked to the War Memorial to pay our respects.
